MATURE BROWS - THE BEST TREATMENTS TO SUIT OVER 55’S

Last month, I had an amazing woman come to me wanting eyebrows, her eyebrows had started thinning and were no longer the shape they used to be. She no longer wanted to pencil them in daily - but was very hesitant about the semi-permanent options. It was actually her daughter in law that kept telling her to come and have a consult with me, and after months of thought, she plucked up the courage and booked a consult - Yay! 

Peta was extremely nervous and worried that the brows were going to be too full-on, ‘You young ladies can pull off the strong brows, but I’m just too old for that now First of all, I told her off for calling herself ‘too old’ age is a number and you are only as fabulous!

Secondly - she was absolutely right! If I put a thick, bushy, overpowering brow her your face, she wouldn’t want to leave the house - we definitely don’t want that!

Once we established what she didn’t want and what she was worried about, we got chatting about styles that would suit her face shape and her age. As Peta was celebrating more Birthdays, her eyebrows seemed to be diminishing, so we started to plan her microbladed treatment so that she could have her dream shape.

Her microblading journey:
On her consult I discussed absolutely everything with her in detail, colours, shapes and thickness and I showed her some examples of styles that would suit her. We both agreed to start ultra-natural, then if she needed to return for an extra visit to get the final result then so be it! natural was the aim of the game. Peta returned a few weeks later for her initial appointment, then the magic began! She was very, very nervous - which made me more determined to get the right shape.

Peta returned 6 weeks later for her second session - also known as the ‘6 week top up’ which is required for all first appointment. 

We made any small changes to the brows and perfected the microblading strokes that had faded too much in the healing. From here on - she only needs to come and see me every 1-3 years for her yearly touch-ups.

This appointment keeps the colour vibrant so she doesn’t have to go back to have any eyebrows.
