IS MICROBLADING PAINFUL?

One of the most popular questions we get is about the level of discomfort during microblading. It’s common to assume that microblading is like a body tattoo, rest assured, this is totally not the case! Microblading is performed on the upper layers of the epidermis of the skin, whereas body tattooing is much deeper. We only want to add your beautiful hair strokes to the surface so that they stay look nice and crisp.

On the day of your appointment -

When you arrive for your appointment, a topical numbing cream will be applied for around 20 minutes. This will numb the surface so you are as comfortable as possible. 

Most clients describe the sensation as a light scratch. Clients give us feedback that the pain level is a 3 out of 10. We usually say if you can handle brow plucking, you can definitely handle microblading.
